Service-disabled veteran and woman owned

Benefits you earned.
Systems that hold up under audit.

LEGAL_NAME works on two fronts: teaching veterans and their families how the disability benefits system actually works, and building the contracting, software, and leadership infrastructure that lets mission-driven organizations deliver on what they promised.

Most veterans meet this scale without ever being told how it is combined, what evidence it rests on, or where the burden sits. Education first. Always.

Capabilities

Four practices. One operating standard.

The work looks different in each lane. The discipline does not. Every engagement produces documentation a third party can follow, verify, and act on without a phone call.

Practice 01

Disability benefits education

Plain-language instruction on how the benefits system is structured, what the evidence standards are, and how to read your own file.

  • How ratings are assigned and combined
  • Reading a decision letter and a claims file
  • What counts as evidence, and who has to produce it
  • Where to find free accredited representation
  • Transition planning for service members separating
Practice 02

Government contracting

Registration, positioning, and capture support for small firms entering or scaling in the federal market.

  • SAM.gov registration and annual renewal
  • Socioeconomic certification packages
  • Capability statements and past performance files
  • Opportunity screening and bid or no-bid discipline
  • Proposal support and compliance matrices
Practice 03

Software development

Custom tooling for organizations whose records have to survive an audit, an inspection, or a dispute.

  • Case, client, and eligibility tracking systems
  • Workflow automation with a written audit trail
  • Data migration off spreadsheets and paper
  • Accessibility conformance from the first commit
  • Documentation handed over with the code
Practice 04

Executive leadership advisory

Advisory for founders and executives carrying operational load that has outgrown the way it is currently run.

  • Operating cadence and accountability structure
  • Process design and standard work
  • Delegation, hiring plans, and succession
  • Board and stakeholder communication
  • One-on-one executive coaching

How we work

Four steps, in this order, every time.

The order matters. Skipping the assessment is how people end up paying for work that was never going to help them.

STEP 01

Consultation

A scheduled conversation to hear the situation in full and say plainly whether this is work we can help with. If it is not, you leave with a referral and no invoice.

STEP 02

Assessment

We review what exists now: the documents, the systems, the timelines, the gaps. You receive the findings in writing, including the parts that are inconvenient.

STEP 03

Plan

A written plan with sequence, owners, and dates. Every item names what finishes it, so nobody has to guess whether a step is done.

STEP 04

Execution and handoff

We work the plan alongside your team and hand back documentation you can run without us. Independence is the goal, not a retainer that never ends.

Ownership

OWNER_NAME

OWNER_BRANCH veteran. Operations and program leadership across logistics, emergency management, and healthcare administration. Now the owner of a firm built on the conviction that the people who carried the load deserve to understand the system that decides what they receive.

She built this company after watching capable people lose ground for one reason: nobody explained the rules to them in language they could act on. Everything here, from the benefits classes to the contracting support to the software, is the same instinct applied at a different scale.

You do not get to say a system is fair if the people inside it cannot read it.

In their words

Proof, not promises.

Replace the three cards below with real, attributed, permissioned testimonials. I did not write placeholder quotes for you to publish. Unattributed praise reads as invented, and in the federal space it invites the kind of scrutiny you do not want.
